A distance shot of the Temple of Joy. It was massive (look for the people nearby). It was made with 8ftx4ft cast off plywood cut outs from a factory that makes small toy wooden dinosaurs that kids assemble. Even though you could see the cut outs were just and only that, it still looked like someone had spent years doing the careful intricate carvings. I'm not sure how the artist managed to get the top most piece up there, I can only guess the top was made, and as each layer was added, he got help from the bystanders to lift the entire structure on the next lower layer. |
