A very good camera, but the review zoom was a little slow.
It has EXIF (version 2.1) data within each JPG image, which gives extra information about the photograph, such as shutter speed and aperture, but importantly the date/time the photo was taken, so I strongly suggest you keep the date and time in the camera accurate.
Remember to set it Sunday mornings when daylight savings changes too.
Memory usage
After about a year of usage, I found the camera under estimates the number of photos that usually go onto memory. Probably a good thing to do it that way rather than over estimate, and you run out too soon!
What I found was:

Also the "Best(3:2)" is the same as "Best" with about 100 pixels cut off top and bottom. I found if I wanted a 1.5 ratio (eg when printing a 6x4 print), I could do that myself in the computer and have the flexibility of composing the photo then too.
Battery charge
When I first got the camera (a gift from a friend) it had been sitting around for months, and the battery would not really hold much of a charge. So I would use two NiMH AA rechargable batteries, and a 15 minute recharger by Energizer (which I recommend).
I never had batteries run out on me, so I cannot say how long they last. You can buy new Kodak battery pack (which enables you to charge it in the dock, which also enables photo upload into a computer) at various place. Look for a KAA2HR Kodak EasyShare battery, the price is about $15 plus shipping, or $20 in a local store. But I was very happy with a generic brand battery for just $1 plus $5 shipping from usaelectronicsonline which I ordered Monday, it arrived Friday (if you're not into superfluous packaging)
Software
I never used the Kodak EasyShare software, I'd just plug in the USB cable and access the memory as a remote drive, then copy/paste the JPG and MOV files over.

I did notice every now and then the photo numbers (which usually would increment) would sometimes go back a few numbers,
eg: ... → 240 → 241 → 242 → 243 → 244 242243244 → 245 → 246 → 247 → ...
which would mean two photos of the same filename. In the camera it would be in a different folder, but on my computer I would have to change the filenames so I didn't overwrite other photos. Luckily I usually have some photos I can junk, so I'd just resequence the numbers. But it was pain to have to do.
I now keep my own sequence number.
